Richland Community Library

Organization

The Richland Community Library promotes reading and learning through a wide range of activities. The library is committed to providing more STEM programming for its patrons and community partners.

The Richland Community Library is a small public library that began in 1880 in the local school building and continues to provide service in its present location. The library strives to provide a "Window to the World" through our services such as books, DVDs and periodicals, Ebooks, Internet and Wireless access, adult programs and a wide range of programming for children. The library has recently offered offsite programs for families as well as story times for the local nursery school at their location. We have a good working relationship with the local school district and are striving to develop more partnerships with local organizations. Providing STEM programming is a major goal for the library.
I'm in my second time as library director, having left to pursue other areas of interest. I'm committed as director to providing all our patrons with great customer services. The past two years have been a tough time for libraries as we work our way through an ever-changing landscape created by the pandemic.
