Remake Learning Days Interested Host Sessions!

We are excited to extend an invitation to you and your organization to consider becoming an Event Host for Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) occurring right here in Central PA!

What is a RLDAA event?
RLDAA is a festival of public events that are free or low-cost and designed to be hands-on, relevant and engaging educational experiences for youth of all ages (pre-K through high school), their families, and caregivers with specific themes: Arts, Maker, Outdoor Learning, Science, Technology and Youth Voice. Professional Development is also included in RLDAA to impact educators.

RLDAA events can also incorporate career readiness skills and be part of the Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge. The Career Ready PA Backpack Challenge provides a seamless opportunity for students to obtain artifacts for their career portfolio by participating in festival events. A great opportunity to prepare youth for the vast career opportunities ahead in PA.

Events can be in-person, hybrid, or virtual depending on what is best for the communities you serve. Our local ecosystem, ENGINE of Central PA, will be hosting Remake Learning Days of Central PA. This is an opportunity to elevate your organization to a wide audience and help support our youth, families, and educators across Central PA!

The second annual Remake Learning Days of Central PA will occur May 12-23, 2022. However, you can also hold your event as a pre-festival event of RLDAA anytime April 22 - May 11, 2022. You can also apply for a mini-grant to fund your event you usually offer in the spring, a new event, or a remote learning event. More information about mini-grants to be discussed during our offered webinars!

*Up to $500.00 per mini grant was awarded last year on a first come first served basis. We hope to award the same amount this year.

Who can host?
...arts organizations, business/industry, community centers, early childhood learning centers, libraries, museums, environmental organizations, out of school time providers, parks, school districts, schools, science centers, universities, etc...
