Caroline has twenty years’ experience working in the afterschool field and as a parent advocate. Caroline joined the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool/Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) team as a coordinator in November 2011. Previously, she worked for the Pennsylvania Parent Information and Resource Center as its Education Partnership Coordinator and completed her term as president of the Pennsylvania PTA in 2009. In addition, Caroline served as a member of the National PTA Legislative Committee, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education, the Gettysburg College Parent Advisory Committee and as a faculty member at Furman University’s Riley Institute. Caroline is also a PQAS Certified Instructor. She continues to serve on the PSEA Education Foundation Board, on the Family Involvement Conference Program Committee and as chairman of her church’s human resource committee. Caroline holds bachelor’s degrees in both History and French from Gettysburg College and is a graduate of the EPLC Education Policy Fellowship Program and the White-Riley-Peterson Policy Fellowship program.
