Annie Milewski

Annie Milewski is the Regional Director for Schuylkill County. Annie enjoys watching students grow into life long learners. Annie joined Schuylkill Intermediate Unit in December of 2016 as the Supervisor of STEM and District Support Consultant and most recently became the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Schuylkill Intermediate Unit. Some of her initiatives at IU29 are STEM, Summer Camp facilitator, Gifted Liaison, Act 89 and Federal Programs, School Climate, Text Dependent Analysis Point of Contact, East Region Lead on Engineering by Design, and Career Readiness. Prior to joining IU29, she taught first grade, third grade, Title 1 reading, gifted support k-12, fourth grade, and was a Math Lead and ELA Lead. Annie was part of the Aspiring Leaders program in the 2017-2018 school year. Annie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. In May 2019, Annie completed her Masters in Educational Leadership and obtained her K-12 Principals Certification from Alvernia University in Reading, PA.
At a Glance: Regional directors are concentrated at the Intermediate Unit locations and all serve as STEM Consultants or Supervisors that communicate and collaborate with K-12 school systems in their territory daily. They will be overseeing communication to schools, and coordinating future collaborations/projects in their region when funding is accessible within the ecosystem.
